Silver Heron Lake

This scene is a day on the Mimbres Lake. The fine lines and patterns are inspired by the antique works of the Mimbres People. They are well known for their fine line designs on white clay pottery. They produced this pottery from about 500 AD to 1250 AD.  Their home range is located in northern Mexico and southern AZ and NM in the southwest USA.
